Job Title:Systems Administrator
Job Description:

Monitor, test, operate and maintain, to the agreed internal SLA levels of uptime, performance and availability, IT infrastructure and systems including but not limited to: •Data Centres/ Server Rooms •Disaster Recovery Plans and Solutions •Backup Plans and Solutions •Servers and Server Farms • Communications Systems; LAN, WAN, Telecom/Voice • Enterprise Storage Solutions • Collaboration Tools • Active Directory and Email Provide 24/7 operational and technical support for the day-to-day operation of data centres and server rooms and ensure environment, power backup and server performance is properly monitored and any issues addressed within. Manage inventories related to: systems; server space; requests for moves, additions and changes of hardware; and server and infrastructure assets. Setup and configure servers in collaboration with AGS. Manage/monitor, server shared folders, communication and conferencing equipment, backup and storage systems. Administration of user accounts and mailbox. Ensure adequate backups and processes are implemented to support business continuity and disaster recovery objectives for core systems in the Operational Area. Support the implementation of IS and Infrastructure projects taking lead in the implementation of network systems projects and deliver on the documentation and technical specifications for locations. Provide 2nd line technical user support for the resolution of all system related issues assigned. Support the training of staff on IS procedures and applications and document training guides and manuals. Deliver, support or perform any other tasks that may be assigned by supervisor
