The maiden corporate training session for 2018 for members of the AGI was held at the AGI Training centre, AGI annex building from Tuesday, 27th February 2018 to Wednesday, 28th February 2018. This training which falls under the activities of the Business Development Services Department of AGI saw an impressive participation across the various business sectors. The training focus was on “Strategic Marketing & Presentation Skills” and the training sought to make participants understand marketing as not only a departmental function but more as an organizational culture rooted in the philosophy of a customer orientation. The training highlighted new trends and orientations towards creating and capturing customer value. Topics discussed include Marketing Mix Issues; Rethinking the Sales Approach: Refining Selling to create and Capture Customer Value; Consumer Behaviour and Marketing Strategy; and Effective Presentation Skills for the Marketing Professional.
