The Vice President of the Republic of Ghana, Dr. Alhaji Mahmoud Bawumia is set to open the Ghana Industrial Summit and Exhibition 2018 (GISE) on Tuesday, September 18, 2018 at the Accra International Conference Centre at 9am. 

The GISE is an annual programme organised by the Association of Ghana Industries (AGI), in collaboration with the Ministry of Trade and Industry, to bring industry and government together to share ideas and to discuss investment opportunities. 
It will bring together hundreds of local and international businesses across several industries together to network and collaborate on business projects. 

This year's Summit is under the theme International Partnerships for Value-Added Industrial and Local Content Development. It will run for 3 days: Tuesday,18 September through to Thursday, 20 September, 2018. 

Speakers at the Summit include Hon. Alan K. Kyerematen, Minister of Trade and Industry; Hon. Ayorkor Botchway, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration; Dr. Yaw Adu-Gyamfi, President of AGI. Others include Ing. Emmanuel Antwi-Darkwa, Chief Executive of VRA; Dr. K. K. Sarpong, Chief Executive of GNPC; Charles Larbi-Odam, Country Managing Executive, Deloitte etc.
