AGI-WIB Pays Courtesy Visit to Vice President of Ghana

On Tuesday, January 28th, the Association of Ghana Industries Women in Business Chapter (AGI-WIB), led by Chairperson Dr Mrs Grace Amey-Obeng, paid a courtesy visit to the Vice President of the Republic of Ghana, Professor Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang, at her office.

The visit was aimed at congratulating the Vice President on her historic achievement as Ghana’s first female Vice President and to discuss key issues affecting women in business and industry. The delegation emphasized the importance of addressing the unique challenges faced by women entrepreneurs and business owners in Ghana.

During the meeting, important discussions took place on government programmes and policies designed to support and empower women in the business sector.

 Professor Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang expressed her commitment to continued engagements with AGI-WIB and assured the group that her office is dedicated to initiating programmes that will focus on the empowerment and advancement of women in business.

Both parties agreed to work together to implement practical solutions and create an environment that fosters the growth and success of women-led businesses in Ghana.
