The Ghana Industrial Summit and Exhibition’s second day was a resounding success, with the Association of Ghana Industries hosting a plethora of informative sessions and networking opportunities at the Accra International Conference Centre.
The day kicked off with a welcome address and an overview of the first day’s events by AGI CEO, Mr. Seth Twum-Akwaboah. This set the stage for the technical discussions that followed, starting with the first session focused on Strengthening Key Value Chains in the automotive, textile, and pharmaceutical industries.
The second technical session delved into Enhancing Local Value Chains, specifically exploring ways to strengthen the cassava, fruits, and cosmetics sectors.
The final session, sponsored by the European Union, centred around Promoting Industrial Development and Digitalization in Ghana’s agribusiness sector, tackling challenges and opportunities. This was followed by a Networking Cocktail with European Union delegations, providing attendees with valuable connections and insights.
This summit is part of a larger effort to promote Ghana’s industrialization agenda, building on previous successes. The event brings together stakeholders from the private sector, public services, academia, and civil society to discuss sustainable supply chains and green technology.
