The President of AGI, Dr Kwesi Humphrey Ayim Darke had a virtual meeting with the Ghana High Commissioner to Canada, HE Anselm Ransford Sowah to discuss Ghana and Canada’s industrial cooperation and an upcoming industrial Mission to Canada.

Dr Ayim Darke revealed that the mission to Canada – Toronto and Ottawa is slated for May 2024 but planning starts now. He presented that the purpose of the mission is to initiate a strong industrial partnership with members of AGI and counterparts in Canada.

He said the key focused sectors include Green growth and Renewables; Mining; Financial services technology; Agribusiness; Food processing; Construction and Automotive and Transport.

HE Ambassador expressed his full support for the programme and will work with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to assist the participant to attend the programme and reap the full benefit of industrial opportunities in Canada.
