AGI Policy and Research Department…. Unternehmer Baden-Württemberg (UBW) Project Group from Germany Visits AGI Members!

The UBW Project Group from Germany embarked on an industrial visit to Fine Print Ghana in Tema and Qualiplast in the North Kaneshie Industrial Area.

The delegation, led by Sequa Project Manager Dr. Roland Stronhmeyer included Mr. Manuel Geiger, Mr. Axel Mierke and Mr. Philip Poferl and accompanied by Miss Mary Turkson, a staff of the Association of Ghana Industries (AGI).

Their mission of the visit was to explore the impact of the Partner Africa project on environmental sustainability and learn about the progress of cluster members.

They engaged with company representatives, inquired about the effectiveness of the project, and discussed the progress of the sustainability implementation practices.

The host companies led the delegation to tour their facilities, showcasing changes made and planned, such as machinery upgrades, structural improvements, and more.

The delegation also assessed the performance of students from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) who interned with the companies and the projects they implemented.

This visit highlighted the importance of collaboration, knowledge sharing, and sustainable development in driving industrial growth.
