AGI Garment, Leather and Textiles Sector hosted a delegation from the Barbados Association of Ghana Apparel Manufacturers.

The purpose of the meeting is to initiate a partnership agreement with AGI for the manufacturing of Barbados clothing and apparel Brands and also in the promotion of the services to the Caribbean Community and Cariforum at CARIFESTA in Barbados on 15th August 2024.

The partnership will also consider accessing opportunities for educational exchanges on short-term programmes.

The delegation from Barbados includes Nikita Weir, Fashion Designer; Lisa Rudder, Commercial Strategy and Marketing, Export Barbados, Andre Hoyte, Senior Business Development Officer, National Cultural Foundation; Disa Forde Cook, Business Development Officer, National Cultural Foundation.

The chair for the meeting was Mrs Edwina Assan, the AGI Garment, Leather and Textiles Chair.

Akosombo Textiles Limited (ATL), organised a mini-fair to showcase textile products.
