AGI Organizes Training and Orientation for Sector Chairpersons

The Association of Ghana Industries (AGI) organised a training and orientation session for sector chairpersons on January 30, 2025, at the Coconut Grove Regency Hotel.

The programme was attended by all sector chairs and chaired by the AGI President, Dr. Humphrey Kwesi Ayim Darke. The CEO, Mr Seth Twum-Akwaboah, took the newly appointed chairpersons through the association’s operational framework, rules, and regulations. He also presented AGI’s advocacy and lobbying strategies, emphasizing key issues facing various sectors and how these can align with national policies and government initiatives.

Mr. Akwaboah further shared success stories of AGI’s interventions within government circles, highlighting the association’s growing influence.

The sector chairpersons are expected to play a critical role in advocating for better business environments, fostering growth, and aligning industry efforts with national goals.
