The AGI President, Dr. Kwesi Ayim Darke addressed the Ghana-Kenya Business Forum held at the Kempinski Hotel yesterday 3 April.

The forum was held as part of the three-day State Visit to Ghana by President Dr William Ruto of Kenya.

The event theme was “Driving Investment and Intra-African Trade: The Ghana-Kenya Experience,” and was attended by a business delegation from Kenya, Government officials from Kenya, Cabinet Ministers of Ghana, members of AGI and the Key Speakers were HE President Nana Addo Danquah Akufo Addo, President of Ghana and HE Dr William Ruto, President of Kenya.

Dr. Kwesi H. Ayim Darke stated that “the Association has had fruitful engagements with the Kenyan Association of Manufacturers (KAM) and the relationship has culminated in the establishment of the Ghana Trade Hub in Nairobi.

AGI aims to become an export-driven economy and the advent of the AfCFTA agreement makes it more expedient to scale up export development and diversification, to this end, AGI welcomes business partnerships with our Kenyan friends that will inure to the growth of manufacturing”.
