NDC Visits AGI to Hold Crucial Talks on Policies on Industries

The Association of Ghana Industries (AGI) and a delegation from the National Democratic Congress (NDC) on Friday, 24 November 2023, held a comprehensive dialogue meeting on the challenges confronting Ghana’s manufacturing industry; identifying solutions to key issues and exploring collaborative strategies.

The meeting, which took place at the AGI Secretariat in Accra, was led by AGI President, Dr. Humphrey Ayim-Darke.

The discussion touched upon critical issues such as unstable macroeconomic environment, inadequate infrastructure, cost of energy, tax issues, and regulatory regime, among others.

The NDC delegation, led by Prof. Kwaku Danso-Boafo, Ambassador Sam Pee Yalley, Hon. Alex Segbefia, Dr Peter Boamah Otokunor Nana Oye and Sammy Gyamfi.

The AGI delegation included Seth Twum-Akwaboah, CEO of AGI, Tsonam Cleanse Akpeloo, AGI Accra Chair, and Eric Defor, Construction Sector Chair
