The Association of Ghana Industries (AGI) held its prestigious Annual Awards Night on November 20th at the Accra International Conference Centre. Under the theme ” Navigating the uncertainties of our business landscape to sustain Productivity”
The highly anticipated event brought together industry leaders, stakeholders, and government officials to celebrate excellence in Ghana’s industrial sector.

This year’s awards ceremony recognized and honoured numerous deserving companies for their outstanding contributions, diligence, and dedication to delivering exceptional quality services. Nestlé Ghana Limited has been recognized with four prestigious awards at the 13th Association of Ghana Industries (AGI) Quality Awards, cementing its position as a leader in the country’s manufacturing sector. The awards showcased the best of Ghanaian industries, highlighting innovative practices, remarkable achievements, and commitment to excellence.

The President of the Association in his address announced that as we navigate this new era, building strong local supply chains has become even more imperative. The dependency on international markets for raw materials, machinery, and other essentials, makes our economy highly vulnerable. By prioritizing local sourcing and building partnerships with domestic suppliers, we do not only reduce the risk of disruption, but also stimulate economic growth and job creation right here at home.

To this end, the Association of Ghana Industries is actively working with stakeholders to promote policies that favour local production and procurement and it was fulfilling to see, that nearly all the manifestos of the major political parties, capture this .

The event featured a keynote address by Dr. Mohammed Amin Adam, the minister of Finance who emphasized the importance of industrial growth and development in Ghana’s economy. The ceremony also included presentations, performances, and networking opportunities, providing a platform for industry players to connect, share ideas, and explore potential collaborations.

The AGI Annual Awards Night has become a prominent fixture in Ghana’s industrial calendar, promoting healthy competition, encouraging innovation, and celebrating the achievements of industries that drive the country’s economic growth.
