AGI-GIZ Launches the African SME Network for Exchange and Trade (AfNEXT) Grant Scheme

The Association of Ghana Industries (AGI), in partnership with Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH, successfully launched the SME Network of Exchange and Trade (AfNEXT) Grant Scheme at the Alisa Hotel, North Ridge.

The AfNEXT project seeks to support SMEs through a combination of Technical and Financial Assistance; it offers business development training and highly customized consulting services to improve business performance and market access. It provides support for the procurement of equipment to increase production capacities (in-kind Grant Scheme).

Key guest speakers for the launch included:

●Dr John Hawkins Asiedu, Consultant for Industrial Parks, MoTI
●John Duti, Team Leader, Invest for Jobs GIZ-Ghana
●Nlaliban Wujanji, Director of Trade and Membership, Chambers of Agribusiness
●Sael Moomen, CEO of the Association of Small-Scale Industries

The event brought together over 80 participants from various industries, marking a significant step forward for SME development in Ghana.
