The AGI organised the Accra Regional Annual General Meeting and a Job Fair at the Coconut Grove Regency Hotel on October 28, 2024, under the theme “Empowering Growth: Building a Strong Workforce for Tomorrow.”
Chairman for Accra Region, Mr Tsonam Cleanse Akpeloo who opened the meeting expressed his utmost appreciation for members for constantly showing up for Accra events.
He said “This year’s theme, “Empowering Growth: Building A Strong Workforce for Tomorrow,” resonates deeply as we look towards an industrial revolution that aims for inclusive wealth creation. The bedrock of any thriving industry is its workforce and It is our collective responsibility to equip our people with the skills and tools necessary to thrive in this evolving landscape”.
The GEA and Mastercard Foundation also organised a Job Fair where twenty companies were given space and a booth to showcase their career development and job opportunities
