The Association of Ghana Industries (AGI) has held a meeting with Ms. Beata Matusikova, Head of Trade and Economy at the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Ghana, at the AGI office to discuss preparations for an upcoming visit by a Czech business delegation. The visit will feature a business-to-business (B2B) session aimed at strengthening trade relations and fostering mutually beneficial business partnerships between Ghanaian and Czech companies.

The meeting was attended by the Chief Executive Officer of AGI, Mr. Seth Twum-Akwaboah; the CEO of Coconut Grove Hotel, Mr. Raphael Ayittey; and the Senior Manager for Public and International Relations at AGI, Mr. Humphery Jojo Quayson.
The primary objective of the engagement was to formally invite AGI to participate in the B2B session, which will bring together Ghanaian businesses and Czech-based companies expected to visit Ghana from 16th to 20th November. The session is intended to provide a platform for the visiting companies to meet potential Ghanaian counterparts, explore areas of mutual interest, and identify opportunities for commercial partnerships and collaboration.

Discussions focused on ensuring that the right Ghanaian businesses are matched with the visiting Czech companies based on their areas of operation and business interests. Key areas identified for potential collaboration included animal production, poultry, dairy development, animal genetics, feed production, agricultural machinery, and food-processing technologies.

AGI highlighted the importance of structuring the engagements to facilitate meaningful interactions, allowing businesses to explore practical opportunities for investment, technology transfer, local production, and the development of stronger industrial and agricultural value chains.
Both parties expressed interest in strengthening cooperation and ensuring that the B2B session delivers valuable connections for participating businesses, with the potential to establish lasting partnerships between Ghanaian and Czech enterprises.

The engagement underscores AGI’s commitment to facilitating international business linkages and creating opportunities for its members to access new markets, technologies, expertise, and strategic partnerships.
