On 21st June 2024, the President of the Association of Ghana Industries (AGI), bid farewell to H. E. Eliphas Barine, the High Commissioner of Kenya to Ghana as he completed his term of office in Ghana.

The visit was initiated by the outgoing High Commissioner and giving his farewell statement, he expressed his utmost gratitude to AGI for the immense support demonstrated in deepening industrial cooperation between Ghana and Kenya with particular reference to engaging the recent visit of Kenyan President William Ruto and his business entourage to Ghana.

In his response, the President of AGI, Dr Kwesi H. Ayim Darke, expressed his appreciation for the High Commissioner’s support to the Ghanaian private sector and his participation in AGI events including the last AGI Annual General Meeting in the Volta Region
