AGI President and Key Members Pay Courtesy Call on Minister for Education

The President AGI, Dr Humphrey Ayim Darke, led a delegation of senior AGI executives and members to pay a courtesy call on the Minister of Education, Hon. Haruna Iddrisu today, at the Ministry’s office. The meeting was part of ongoing efforts to strengthen government-industry collaboration in advancing Ghana’s industrialisation drive.

Dr. Darke was accompanied by Mr. Seth Twum-Akwaboah (AGI CEO), Dr. James Asare-Adjei (Past President), Mr Ralph Ayitey (National Treasurer of AGI), Mr Victor Sosgh (MD, E-Pac Flexible Packaging), Mrs Gifty Boahemaa Dabrah (Finance & Admin Manager, Faytex), and Mr Michael Yen (MD, Sunda International).

The discussions focused on enhancing support for local manufacturers, increasing procurement of locally produced goods, and the importance of private sector experience in public policy development. The President assured the Minister of AGIs commitment to supporting national development.
