AGI President As Panelist on the Post Budget Forum 2025

Dr. Humphrey K. Ayim-Darke, President of the Association of Ghana Industries (AGI), joined a distinguished panel at the Post Budget Forum 2025, held at the Accra Marriott Hotel. The event, organized by KPMG and UNDP, brought together over 100 participants from the private sector, academia, and policymakers to discuss the impact of the 2025 National Budget initiatives and policies on the economy, businesses, and Ghanaians.

The forum’s theme, “Resetting the Economy for the Ghana we want,” set the tone for insightful discussions. Dr. Ayim-Darke was joined on the panel by:

– Mr. Kofi Frempong-Kore, Partner and Head of Tax at KPMG, who shared his expertise on tax implications
– Dr. Priscilla Twumasi Baffour, Senior Lecturer at the University of Ghana’s Economics Department, who provided academic insights
– Professor Rym Ayadi, Economist and International Expert on Sustainable Finance, who offered global perspectives
– Ms. Nelly Mireku, Head of the World Bank Unit, External Resource Mobilization Division, Ministry of Finance, who discussed financial mobilization strategies
– Huzaif Musah, SDGs Financing Officer, who highlighted sustainable development goals
