AGI Pledges Support for Sustainable Development in Courtesy Call on Environment Minister

The Association of Ghana Industries (AGI) has paid a courtesy call on Hon. Dr. Ibrahim Murtala Muhammed, Minister for Environment, Science and Technology, to congratulate him on his appointment and reaffirm AGI’s commitment to sustainable development.

Led by AGI President Dr. Humphrey Kwesi Ayim Darke and CEO Seth Twum-Akwaboah, discussions centered on strategic collaboration in areas including plastic waste management, a proposed science fair, and the annual industrial summit.

AGI highlighted the success of its GRIP program in plastic conversion and proposed tax reforms and funding support to drive sustainability initiatives.

This engagement marks a significant step towards a stronger partnership between government and industry for a greener Ghana.
