On Wednesday, 9th July 2025, the Western/Central Regional Branch of the Association of Ghana Industries concluded a series of courtesy calls to three Municipal Chief Executives (MCEs).
The visits to the MCEs of Shama Municipal Assembly, Effia-Kwesimintsim Municipal Assembly (EKMA), and Sekondi-Takoradi Metropolitan Assembly (STMA) aimed to officially welcome them into office, pledge AGI’s support, and foster collaboration for local business development.
The AGI team was led by the Regional Chairman, Mr. Joseph Cantamanto Garbrah, and included Mr. Albert Ababio – Regional Manager, Madam Theodora L. Nartey – BDS Officer and Miss Natashia Baako

Courtesy Call to Lawyer Frederick F. Faidoo, Metro Chief Executive of Sekondi-Takoradi Metropolitan Assembly (STMA)

AGI called on Lawyer Frederick F. Faidoo to welcome him and discuss support for the Assembly’s development initiatives.
Key Points Discussed: Support for Initiatives: Mr. Garbrah encouraged the MCE to seek AGI’s assistance, especially regarding the 24-Hour Economy initiative.
Ongoing Projects: The Acting Coordinating Director mentioned collaboration with the African Development Bank and requested AGI’s input for success.
Job Creation : The MCE emphasized the importance of AGI’s support in generating employment opportunities within the region.
The courtesy calls underscored AGI’s commitment to fostering collaboration with local government leaders to enhance business growth and development in their respective municipalities. The discussions highlighted the importance of addressing local challenges and pooling resources for the benefit of the community.
