The Association of Ghana Industries (AGI) welcomed a delegation from the Unternehmer Baden-Württemberg (UBW) Project Group from Germany, led by Sequa Project Manager Dr. Roland Stronhmeyer.
Other team members from Germany included Mr. Manuel Geiger, Mr. Axel Mierke and Mr. Philip Poferl.
The delegation met with Mr. Seth Twum-Akwaboah, Chief Executive Officer of AGI, Mr. Nathaniel Quarcoopome, Director of Finance and Administration of AGI, together with staff from the Policy and Research department.
The discussions focused on the progress of the Partner Africa project, which is nearing its conclusion this year.
After the introduction of AGI’s profile and key staff at the meeting, the delegation expressed their satisfaction with the partnership success with AGI especially on the environmental sustainability cluster programme and the AGI/KNUST students internship program, and the impact on member companies.
Additionally, the delegation met with Baerbel Freyer, Chief Technical Officer of AGI-Energy Service Centre, to gain insights into the ESC department’s support for members.
This visit highlights the importance of international collaboration and knowledge sharing in driving economic growth and sustainable development.
