The President of AGI, Dr. Kwesi H. Ayim Darke initiated a meeting with the Minister of Interior, Hon. Henry Quartey and his team to discuss the passage of the NACOC Bill to allow cannabis cultivation for industrial purposes and the implementation strategy for industrial hemp production processes and model.

Present at the meeting included the Chief Executive Officer, Mr Seth Twum-Akwaboah, CEO of AGI and Mr Jojo Quayson, Senior Public and International Relations Manager of AGI.

Also present from the ministry were the Deputy Minister of Interior, Hon. Naana Eyiah, Chief Director, Mrs Doreen Annan, Special Advisor, Mr Abdulai Mumuni Bawumia, Director General of NARCOC, Mr Kenneth Adu-Amanfuh, Technical Advisor, Mr Samuel Amankwa.
