The Tema branch of the Association of Ghana Industries (AGI), led by the Chairman, Dr. Eddie Akwetey, held a General meeting with stakeholders and regulators from the Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA) and the Ghana Standard Authority (GSA) at Hotel Joecarl, Tema.

The meeting which assembled over 60 members aimed to facilitate open discussion and knowledge sharing on key issues on private sector policy.

Notable speakers included Mr John Defor, Director for Policy and Research at AGI, Mr Emmanuel Adjetey Adjei, Principal Scientific Officer at the Ghana Standard Authority, Mr Sugar Adukonu, a representative from the GRA

Dr. Akwetey, the chair of the meeting indicated that the meeting was part of the Tema branch agenda to constantly bring members in the region together to discuss key issues confronting industry with policymakers and to foster collaboration and understanding between industries and regulatory bodies.
